Pericope: Scripture as written and read in antiquity

Utrecht 2000

The first meeting of the Pericope group took place in Utrecht, The Netherlands, in conjunction with the First Meeting of the European Association for Biblical Studies (EABS; 6-9 August 2000). The papers read were published in the first volume of the Pericope series.

 

 

 

 

Rome 2001

This gathering was organised in Rome, in the course of combined sessions of the EABS and the International Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature (8-11 July 2001). The papers were published in volume 3 of the Pericope series.

 

 

 

Berlin 2002

The third meeting took place in Berlin, in connection with the International Meeting of the SBL (19-22 July 2002). The papers appeared in Pericope 4.

 

 

 

Cambridge 2003

The fourth meeting was held in Cambridge, in conjunction with the International Meeting of the SBL and EABS (20-24 July 2003). The papers were published in Pericope 5.

 

 

 

Groningen 2004

The fifth meeting was organised for the International Meeting of the SBL in Groningen, 25-28 July 2004. The papers will be published jointly with those read at Edinburgh 2006.
